Vice President Sales - Ship Design

We are investing in ship design for further growth in existing and new markets. The future requires new ways of working, new sales models, digital maturity, new technologies and changing market requirements. This coupled with a strategic outlook and agility will be key to succeed in this position.

In the role you and your team are accountable for:

• Develop and deliver on order intake objectives. sales strategy, plans and pipeline.
• Promote Kongsberg Maritime’s ship design concepts and solutions.
• Negotiate and secure order intake and contacts with sound terms and profit margins.
• Drive customer relations with existing and new customers
• Cultivating a sales culture that brings out the best in our people, as well as securing competence, capabilities and skills needed to achieve our targets.

What do we expect from you?

• Lead the sales with professional commitment, loyalty, curiosity, and collaborate with different professional groups
• A strong ability to develop and strengthen our market position
• Having a proven track record from international sales and/or business leadership, preferably within the maritime industry  
• The role will require extensive travel activity
