Product Data Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Data Controller to join our Thruster Spare Part Sales team in a new position within the Global Customer Support. We are looking for a technically savvy individual who enjoys maintaining data quality and making improvements to processes and structures within systems.

As a Product Data Controller, you will create product data records in our databases and systems for our new vessels, identifying the vessel and its product structure. Maintenance and continual improvements to data quality and existing records is a key responsibility in this position. You will need to apply a long-term perspective and plan for future applications of product data. Future projects may develop extending this position to oversee work scope and tasks performed by team in Kongsberg Poland working across similar functions. In this role you will work closely with the Sales team and in collaboration with Business Improvement.

Qualifications and experience

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field
  • An understanding of the shipbuilding or engineering industry, as well as the ability to read drawings
  • Solid experience of Microsoft Office suite is required
  • Fluent spoken and written English
