Finance Manager Thruster Systems

We are looking for an engaged Finance Manager to be a member of our management team for Thruster Systems. Your will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control in Thruster Systems Business Unit. You will report directly to Vice President Finance in Propulsion & Engines division.

The Thruster Systems Business units consists of R&D, Supply chain , Project delivery and 2 factories in the Nordics with a total revenue of more than 1.5 BN NOK and 300 employees.

To be successful in this role you take initiative and work independently. You like to work closely with the business and at the same time have focus on bottom-line results, identify potential risks and monitor the financial impact of own activities. If you have an interest in technology, digitalization and its application to business, you can add even more value. The ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms is also essential to the role. If you also have passion for your work and possess strong interpersonal skills, together with a positive can-do attitude, this will be a perfect match.

We are looking for someone to challenge the businesses as well as being a team player and being co-responsible for reaching the business units ambitious targets.

Key accountabilities

• Financial reporting and analysis
• Follow up of product profitability and contribute to product pricing and cost estimation
• Build and follow up business cases
• Ensure proper follow up of delivery projects to ensure predictable gross margin development
• Risk and cost estimation of delivery projects / tenders
• Establish and follow up KPIs, as well as ensuring transparent reporting of underlying business

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor/Master degree in finance or economics
• 5-10 years of relevant experience within finance
• Management experience in a large organization
• Experience with building business cases and stress test strategic initiatives
• Forward focus, including forecasting and analytical work
