As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of our high-tech composites, which include piezoelectric ceramics and other materials, using advanced machines and machining processes such as dicing, grinding, milling, and laser.

We are looking for a proactive and self-driven individual with technical understanding, accuracy, and attention to detail. At Kongsberg Discovery, you will be joining a committed and competent team of colleagues who share knowledge and help each other to succeed.  

As a Manufacturing Operator, your key accountabilities will include preparing products for machining, operating our department's CNC machines, performing first bit piece check/control, performing first line maintenance of machinery and process equipment, LEAN work, as well as other process and quality improvement projects, and reporting any deviations on HSE, products, processes, and machines.
 

Qualifications and experience

  • Education within production technique or experience from a production environment
  • Experience as a Manufacturing Operator or in the CNC machining profession is an advantage
  • Good IT-knowledge with Microsoft Office and ERP systems is preferable
  • Proficiency in Norwegian, written and verbal, is required
  • Good English skills are preferable
