Do you want to travel the world as a Project Engineer for Kongsberg Maritime?
Our systems enable offshore wind farms and maritime autonomy, but we need your help! Do you want to travel the world and see the results of your own work in action? Are you comfortable with an unpredictable lifestyle where you always keep your suitcase packed?
We want to strengthen our team of Project Engineers working on Dynamic Positioning (DP) software deliveries. Your time will be divided between software tasks in the office and traveling to vessels worldwide. We're looking for engineers who are driven, independent and adaptable.
Dynamic positioning (DP) is a system that automatically maintains a vessel's position and heading by using its own propellers and thrusters. This allows operations at sea, where mooring and anchoring is not possible or desirable, and is a key technology enabling the transition to offshore wind energy.
You will be part of a tightly knit group that values collaboration very high. We think that you should look forward to coming into the office, and we actively work to build and maintain a culture that supports this.
Candidates are encouraged to apply early and will be considered as they apply.
