Project Engineer - Service and Technical Support

1) Qualification
• B.E / Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical.

2) Experience
• 3-4 years’ experience from marine DP/thruster or Marine Automation/safety/control systems
• Experience in AutoCAD, engineering design and familiar with ERP tools.
• Practical experience and knowledge of marine equipment and control systems is preferred.
• Good understanding and knowledge of products, systems, their functionality, and applications.
• Meticulous & methodical approach to document handling.

3) Skills
• Overall focus and awareness on quality.
• Good communication skills with excellent verbal and written English.
• Self-driven & focused person
• Collaborative

4) Travel
• Extensive travel whenever required.
• Prepared to travel on short notice.
• To possess valid travel document.
• Willingness to travel to any part of the world wherever company feels safe to travel.

5) Roles & Responsibilities
• Hardware engineering for Kongsberg Maritime core products, including Automation, Dynamic Positioning, Thruster Control, Consoles and Navigation
products in multiple project team.
• Act as Hardware Responsible in Upgrade & Modification projects.
• Perform technical layout drawing preparation and arranging shipments as per sales order and ensure hardware delivery.
• Provide technical solution for customer worldwide and support with sales.
• Be a part of an international and highly skilled team.
• Preparation of engineering drawings, cable list, cable details, cable layouts, IO specifications, etc.
• Arranging Installation, Operator, Maintenance manuals for the installation.
• Updating / maintain installation details in CRM & ERP.
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
• Maintaining communications with project manager /Department Manager / Lead project engineer on day-to-day activities to ensure resolution and
proper follow-up on projects.
• Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health, and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues.
• Participating in U&M team meetings for new opportunities such as new project /contracts /updates.
• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.
• Adhering to current regulatory requirements
