Vice President Finance Service Centre

An exciting opportunity has come up as Vice President Finance Service Centre (FSC). We are looking for a dedicated leader to continue developing our FSC for the future needs of our global organization, which is currently present in 34 countries. In addition to Kongsberg Maritime, the FSC also provides services to other areas within KONGSBERG.

In this role you will contribute to develop the finance function by incorporating new digital tools, harmonizing global processes, but most importantly ensure the FSC team is in on the journey towards the future ambitions. Our FSC’s are currently located in Norway, Poland and Singapore, with the main office in Kongsberg, Norway. We are responsible for providing services to several companies globally today, with an ambition to extend to even more countries in the future. Current service deliveries are within areas such as General Accounting and Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collection & dunning, Travel & Expense, Payroll, Hours accounting and Currency accounting.

We are looking for a strategic and unifying leader with experience in change management, to ensure that our FSC team and other stakeholders fully embrace the chosen direction. The ideal candidate should be a team player with highly developed interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration and cohesion within the team and across various stakeholders.

Key accountabilities

• Develop and implement a strategy for the future finance services, ensuring it is anchored with the overall strategy for Kongsberg Maritime, and supported by all key stakeholders
• Responsible for the day-to-day deliveries from the FSC ensuring high customer satisfaction
• Ensuring all deliveries are in compliance with laws and regulations as well as internal principles and procedures
• Be at the forefront in the digitalization journey and point the direction while balancing the development and implementation of new or improved tools and processes and upholding quality and service level standards today and in the future
• Inspire, lead and develop managers and employees, both professionally and as a team

Qualifications and experience

• Higher education within finance or accounting
• Experience from relevant management positions within accounting, auditing or similar
• International experience or exposure within international organisations will be appreciated
• Good knowledge of IFRS standards and reporting requirements
• A strong interest for IT and new or improved tools and processes
• Strong communication skills, spoken and written in Norwegian and English
• High ethical standards and adheres to the values of KONGSBERG: Reliable, Determined, Innovative and Engaged

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
