Field Service Engineer - DPHW, Navigation
An exciting opportunity has arisen as Field Service Engineer – Dynamic Positioning Hardware (DPHW), Navigation reporting to Operations Manager US, Bridge & Controls. As a Field Service Engineer working with our Dynamic Positioning Systems, with a strong product focus upon Navigation, you will be responsible for servicing our systems primarily in the Americas’ region with the possibility for Global travel as well. Additionally, you will provide technical support as well as commission new systems, providing service and support to all types of DP installations.
Key Accountabilities
- Technical support, assistance and service for navigation system world-wide
- Remote support and digital solutions for navigation system to internal and external customers
- Commissioning of new systems and modifications / refit of existing fleets and assist in sea trials
- Provide in-house technical support by phone and email to internal and external customers
- Engineering and Production of technical documentation
- Be part of 24/7 support organization
- Inhouse FAT / IAT and test of new Navigation platforms
Qualifications and Experience:
Functional / Technical – Knowledge and abilities to perform work with quality results
- Authorized to work lawfully in the US without company sponsorship
- Ability to handle simultaneous activities and work in a hectic environment
Management – Attributes & Capabilities illustrating management potential
- Be a team player
- Good communication skills and fluent in English

- Carry out service and support for our equipment and customers
- Identify and report incidents, improvements, and needs to Service Manager
- Prioritize and complete work tasks for the assigned service trip or project
