Senior Sales Manager - Offshore

To meet the challenges in selling the energy solutions for the future, we are looking for a highly motivated customer-oriented Senior Sales Manager with a desire to work in a dynamic and international environment. In this role you will take an active part in the sales processes with a main responsibility for leading the offshore segment for North America. You will make important contributions to North America and wider regional markets and work with the rest of the sales team to promote KM’s market leading solutions. The role will allow you to work across different offshore segment such as workboats, drilling and production units, with a exposure to a variety of clients and a wide spectrum of technologies and products.
We are currently seeking an individual with a strong network within the offshore industry in North America, with particular emphasis on the US. This individual will have the motivation and capability to influence stakeholders about the optimal path forward in offshore operations.

Key accountabilities
- Drive to strengthen KM position in the offshore across North America
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans for specific customers.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Manage the technical scope, and preparation of quotations where needed.
- Track sales opportunities, report order income, forecast sales using CRM.
- Prepare annual order income budget
- Prepare, present, and promote tailored solutions to owners, yards & designers.
- Be part of preparation of quotations where needed.
- Coordinate activities with KONGSBERG’s sales resources to align customer interactions.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and exhibitions.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or another relevant field. Or equivalent industry experience.
- Good knowledge of the offshore industry, including offshore wind.
- Possess good network in the offshore industry
- Previous sales experience in the maritime or offshore/renewable industry is desirable.
- Having experience with system delivery, commissioning and start-up at shipyards is beneficial but not required.
- Previous experience in technical sales is desired.
