Development Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Development Engineer in the Global Customer Support organisation. In this role, as a part of the Technical Support & Engineering team, you will have the responsibility for developing upgrading solutions for the Propulsion product portfolio.

We are looking for either a young or experienced candidate who has an innovative and analytical mindset, are able to bring concepts into realization, have the ability to define priorities and coordinate projects in collaboration with others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, design, and validate solutions to their requirements
• Technical responsibility in assigned projects
• Contribute to continous improvement activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Provide Technical Support within the Propulsion product portfolio

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience from the maritime industry
• Experience with PLM and Design systems, NX and Teamcenter is an advantage
• Experience with Finite Element Method is an advantage
• Experience with the Thrusters Product Portfolio is beneficial, but not a requirement
• A high level of English and Norwegian communication skills, both oral and written
