As Project Engineer Stability & Hydrodynamics, you will work with development of our portfolio of vessels within the UT-Design and NVC-Design range of vessels. The role will cover development work and documentation in sales phase and follow-up during the construction phase.

Key accountabilities

• Develop documentation of Intact stability, damage stability, capacities, tonnage, tankplan etc (Napa Software)
• Create vessel weight estimates (ShipWeight software)
• Perform sea-keeping analysis
• Provide sales support and customer activities
• Communicate with building yards and approval process with Flag, Authorities and classification societies.

Qualifications and experience

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Marine Technology or Ship Design.
• Relevant experience from shipyard, classification companies or consultancy.
• Experience with hull design, CFD analysis, DP capability analysis, speed and power analysis is considered an advantage.
