Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades, and support in the aftermarket. Our 2300 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades, and spare parts to secure availability and predictability to our customers.

Kongsberg Maritime seeks a highly motivated Finance Assistant to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the invoicing and billing process. Organizational skills and communication abilities with internal and external clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and organizing emails.
• Checking and analyzing documentation received for billing (service reports, orders, measurement reports).
• Issuing invoices and supplementary documents (invoices, RANFs).
• Issuing and updating bank slips.
• Sending documentation to clients via emails or portals.
• Verifying deadlines and methods of document delivery with clients.
• Customer support (requests via email and phone).
• Registering clients in the MXM ERP system.
• Interfacing with sales, service coordination, and after-sales departments.
• Supporting monthly closing activities.

Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Administration, Accounting, or Economics - completed or in progress.
• Previous professional experience in Billing.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Basic English.
• Knowledge of federal and municipal withholding taxes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Teamwork skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of MXM will be an advantage.
