Software Engineers – Radar & Next Generation Navigation

Our department is responsible for development of the maritime navigation system of Kongsberg Maritime. These positions will primarily be working in the radar software development team for our current and the next generation navigation system.

Applications will be processed on an ongoing basis. 

Key accountabilities

• Software development of our radar subsystem in our current and next generation navigation system.
• Build up profound knowledge of the radar subsystem.
• Work with development within the field of navigation systems.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in SW Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybernetics, Mathematics or similar.
• Experience within one or more of these technologies:
  • Signal processing
  • Image processing
  • Embedded development (C or C++)
  • GPU Programming (e.g. OpenCL)
  • C#, Python, Matlab
  • Cybernetics
  • AI

• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written since we are operating in an international environment.

If you have some experience with the following its a plus, but you will get the training and mentoring needed to bring you up to a professional level.

• Visual Studio and Windows, Git, Azure DevOps, Linux
