Project Site Manager - Integrated Projects Engineering
As Project Site Manager, you will report to Department Manager and oversee all site operations for the integrated project. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that activities align with the plans and expectations of key stakeholders. We seek experienced project site managers who possess a problem-solving mindset, excel in team collaboration, challenge the status quo, and bring fresh perspectives to Kongsberg’s strategic goals.
While previous experience is advantageous, Integrated Projects Engineering is dedicated to training and developing new engineers through a program of challenging tasks and supported learning. We emphasize professional and personal growth and offer an exciting, interdisciplinary working environment.
Key accountabilities
- Responsible for providing support for installation of KM equipment during building/outfitting period of vessel.
- Offer technical support during commissioning of vessel.
- Contribute to the economical result in Integrated projects
- Provide expertise related to installation & commissioning plans and activities to support and address management of change through variation orders, technical clarifications/queries and other challenges to secure success of the project.
- Plan, manage, execute, and control projects according to mandate
- Be a single point of contact between KM and our customers
- Participate in department, and business wide improvement projects and initiatives
Qualifications and experience of interest
- Project management experience, or aspiring for such a challenge
- Knowledge of, or interest in maritime operations and products
- Competence or interest in the technical domain
- Work experience from commercial and customer-oriented roles
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Valid work permit in Norway

- establishing, monitoring, maintaining and coordinating integrated project installation & commissioning plans. Responsible for providing input to Yard’s overall production plan and commissioning plan on behalf of the KM Integrated Project.
