As Supplier Development Manager for Propeller Systems, you will play a crucial role in realizing our supplier development strategy. You will ensure that we meet the requirements of our supply chain management teams and create a stronger, more sustainable supply chain.
In this role, your focus will be on driving improvements in quality, cost, and delivery in our external supply chain. You will also lead the development and implementation of programs that integrate sustainability initiatives and promote environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in our supplier processes. Proactive risk management will be key to building a resilient and sustainable supply chain.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop your team, consisting of approximately 5-6 people, through recruitment, coaching, and skills development, and coordinate the team to achieve quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability goals.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost savings to make strategic decisions that drive growth and improve profitability.
- Be responsible for continuous improvements through clear goals and careful monitoring of supplier performance in quality and delivery.
- Implement sustainability programs and integrate ESG factors into supplier development, and lead initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions.
- Evaluate suppliers to ensure their quality and reliability, also collaborate with the procurement team to select the best long-term partners.
- Identify and manage supplier-related risks that affect quality, delivery, or sustainability through risk minimization and contingency plans.
- Ensure that processes are followed, and that all documentation is accurate and up to date according to regulations.
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote collaboration and common goals.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Work experience in similar roles
- Documented experience in leadership and personnel development
- Solid experience with Lean and quality improvement tools
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience with Value Stream Mapping
- Competence in program and project management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
We will conduct background and health checks in connection with employment. The position requires Swedish citizenship or that you have lived in Sweden for at least 5 years.
