Supplier Quality Engineer

We are currently looking for a high-performing, detail-oriented and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer. In this role you will be a important part of Supplier Development Engineering team within Supply Chain team for Thruster Systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle concessions with sub suppliers and engineering
• Handle minor NCRs with sub suppliers
• Provide support and guidance to suppliers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including internally procurement, engineering, inspectors and production and externally sub suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations
• Continuous improvement and development of the process related to the supplier quality

Qualifications and experience

• A suitable technical degree
• Must have ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Understanding of the shipbuilding or engineering industry helps in this role
• Understanding of Quality Management System ISO9001 and former quality background is an advantage
