Country Manager KDA Spain

Challenging and exciting position in Spain as Country Manager for Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA), Division Missiles & Space.

Missiles & Space is a division of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace with more than 1700 employees. We develop and deliver market-leading anti-ship missiles for integration on ship, coastal defence systems, helicopters and combat aircraft. The division is currently under massive growth, expanding our global footprint in all relevant markets. Missiles & Space also has substantial activity within Space and Surveillance.

Due to high increase of ongoing projects and opportunities in Spain, we are looking for a Spanish citizen to support current contracts and marketing opportunities of relevant products in the Spanish market.  Spain is considered a strategic important market for the Division Missiles & Space, and we seek to strengthen our team with a Country Manager KDA Spain.

The person we are looking for should be a result-driven, independent, systematic team player.

Responsibilities

• Marketing and Business Development for our products in the Spanish Market
• Support KDA Program Offices in the execution of current and future contracts in Spain through local presence and facilitation.
• Build and maintain KDA network within Industry, Military, and relevant public offices
• Local presence to accommodate for relevant KDA Programs and strengthen competitive position
• Customer contact, presentations and participation in exhibitions and conferences
• Plan business strategies that align with KDA overall objectives
• Regular Reports to KDA stakeholders in established projects and Business Development organization

Desired background and characteristics

• Spanish citizen
• Large and relevant network in Government and Industry
• Extensive knowledge of relevant product areas (defence, preferably missile systems)
• Extensive experience from Military, military industry or relevant public or political positions
• Master degree or equivalent military education
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills on both Spanish and English, written and spoken
