Position Overview

Support our regional Program’s and Naval Sales team in maintaining customer relations. Provide Spares quotation and offerings covering the entire KM product portfolio. Provide invoicing for milestone payments to customers. Specific focus and responsibility for ensuring spares quotations are issued, maximizing Kongsberg opportunities. This would include opportunities for spares, services, retrofits, and refits. Active follow up of these opportunities in close cooperation with sales managers, Programs, and product centers.
 

Accountabilities

  • Admin related tasks requested by the Project Manager and Supply Chain manager including but not limited to; quoting, PO creation, invoicing, and collections
  • Open sales orders for parts and service
  • Update ERP systems in regards to Vessel installations and customer information
  • Navigate and update all ERP systems for all job and spares related activities including, but not limited to; time, expenses, and parts
  • Review project information for accuracy
  • Invoice customers and follow-up with customer if invoice is not paid timely
  • Support Sales and Programs Team in their preparation for customer meetings
  • Participate in KPI and P&L meetings
  • Some Finance duties including but not limited to, reporting, and collections
  • Other projects and assignments as directed by Manager
  • Handle all quoting and billing inquiries unless a manager’s approval is needed for credits, discounts, etc.
  • Talk directly with customers to collect unpaid debt

Competence

  • Understanding of Government related contracts and needs a plus
  • Knowledge of KM Worldwide organizations, products, deliveries, and customers a plus
  • Committed and reliabl
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other Windows bases ERP, including Sharepoint system is a plus
  • Knowledge of operating a PC and working with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage time and meet required deadlines with little direction
  • Good written and verbal English communication with both internal and external customers
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Ability to be self-sufficient with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others
Position will provide services to fulfill federal contract.  Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Person per federal contract
