HMI/UI Software Engineer – Next Generation Navigation

We are currently in the search for an HMI/UI Software Engineer to our department who is responsible for development of the maritime navigation system of Kongsberg Maritime. You will primarily be working in the software development team for our next generation navigation system, as well as the development and integration of subsystems to lift our products towards the shift of autonomy operations.

What you will be doing

  • Software development with focus on HMI/UI for our next generation navigation system
  • Build up profound knowledge of the maritime navigation systems
  • Work with development within the field of autonomy operations

We think you should have

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in SW Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybernetics, or similar.

  • Experience within one or more of these technologies: 
    • C#/WPF or C and C++
    • HTML5
    • HMI/UI development
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written since we are operating in an international environment.

 

If you have some experience with the following its a plus, but you will get the training and mentoring needed to bring you up to a professional level.

  • Visual Studio and Windows, Git, Azure DevOps, Linux

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
