
Service Workshop Intern

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Service Workshop Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in the maritime industry, allowing you to develop valuable skills and contribute to the success of our service workshop (and not only!).
Location: Walvis Bay, Namibia
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the service workshop.
- Learn and apply basic maintenance and repair techniques under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Support the team in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Participate in routine inspections of marine equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety standards.
- Document and report on work progress, issues, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant technical or engineering study.
- Strong interest in the maritime industry and a desire to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when needed.
- Safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining a secure working environment.
