
Manager, People Growth and Capabilities
We are looking for a Manager for People Growth and Capabilities at Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will turn our People strategy into practical initiatives that promote employee growth and development, including leadership development and organizational culture. You will work with your team to align with the organization's strategic goals and foster a culture of continuous learning. In collaboration with stakeholders, you will identify development needs and take an active part to facilitate and implement solutions that boost skills, engagement, and performance. As our global company expands, you'll drive standardization and digitalization, ensuring scalable offerings are globally accessible and quickly available to employees and managers.
As Manager for People Growth and Capabilities, you will be at the forefront of our leadership development initiatives, designing and facilitating of learning solutions for a global matrix organization, oversee performance enablement and succession planning, and foster a company culture that embodies our values, and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging. You will drive further development of our Career System, making learning journeys available, drive upskilling and reskilling initiatives, and prepare the organization and our workforce for future skills and capabilities. As an advocate for digitalization and scalable training solutions, you utilize available technology and will ensure that people growth and capability data are available to drive business improvements.
As a People Manager, you will lead a small team, fostering growth and a collaborative work environment. You'll work closely with the global HR team, managers, and other stakeholders to support organizational objectives and business success.

We think you should have
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in roles with a focus on people development and leadership.
- Proven experience in managing leadership and organizational development initiatives. Experience in developing and implementing scalable training programs.
- Strong desire for, and understanding of, digitalization and standardization of people processes. Experience with Workday is an advantage.
- Great communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders.
- A strong interest and curiosity to understand business dynamics and converting business requirements into opportunities for enhancement.
