Sourcing Lead
We are experiencing strong growth, which means more exciting and challenging projects. The strong growth required more indirect procurement support for our operations and projects. Indirect procurement in KONGBERG includes products and services consumed internally to support the production and delivery of our products. Growth also means that we need to establish new contracts with both domestic and international suppliers. In this effort, we aim to strengthen our capabilities and capacity and are now looking for a new Sourcing Lead with location in Norway.

What you will be doing
- Contact with internal customers (projects, departments, and business areas)
- Project- and department procurement, safeguard deliveries from our suppliers
- Take ownership and manage projects through the various stages of our procurement process
- Support internal customers with sourcing of new products, services and suppliers
- Preparation and updating of requests (RFI / RFQ)
- Negotiation and establishment of supplier agreements
- Implementation of new supplier agreements both with stakeholders and the wider organization when needed
- Procurement support in projects related to planned purchases and acquisitions, as well as bids for end customers
- Main point of contact for selected suppliers
- Ongoing evaluation of existing and new suppliers (supplier management)
- Operate in both strategic- and operational procurement areas
- Document all parts of the procurement process in projects
We think you should have
- Higher education in economics or technical subjects
- Experience in procurement and supplier negotiations
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
- Experience with communication across larger organizations with many stakeholders, each having different goals and focuses
- Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is desirable (AX2012, D365, Baan)
- Knowledge of or interest in learning procurement systems (Jaggaer and/or other Procure 2 Pay systems, including sourcing and contracts modules)
- The ability to operate in MS Office
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
