
Direct Procurement Intern
We are looking for a detail-oriented Direct Procurement Intern to support our team in data analysis, supplier research, and cost optimization. In this role, you will assist in tracking supplier performance, managing procurement documents, and identifying process improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Data analysis & reporting – assist in supplier performance tracking, cost analysis, and procurement data visualization.
- Supplier research – support sourcing efforts by researching new suppliers and benchmarking industry trends.
- Document management – organize and update procurement contracts, supplier audits, and compliance documents.
- Process improvement support – identify inefficiencies in procurement and supply chain processes and suggest optimizations.
- Cost reduction analysis – support cost-saving initiatives by analyzing supplier quotes and identifying savings opportunities.
- General administrative support – help with presentations, and other operational tasks..
Qualifications:
- 4th or 5th year of study, preferred: engineering, metallurgical
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English language enabling effective verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
