In the role as KDA’a Compensation & Benefits Director, you will ensure the further development and management of a global set of policies and guidelines to support the company’s growth domestically and globally. You will lead a team of compensation & benefits specialists and work closely with HR across organizational and geographical borders to attract, retain, and reward top talent worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization and our leaders in the full range of compensation & benefits topics and lead larger KDA projects and activities within the subject areas.
Main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and develop a team of compensation & benefits specialists
- Design, implement and drive global mobility, compensation, benefits and total rewards strategies that align with KDA’s business objectives
- Benchmark and analyze market data to ensure competitive positioning in salary structures, incentives, and benefits programs
- Policy and compliance development and governance to support fair and consistent compensation practices across KDA globally
- Collaborate and advise business leaders and senior HR on total rewards strategies and best practices
- Optimize and scale compensation structures, executive remuneration, and international benefits programs to support KDA growth
- Cooperate closely with Kongsberg Group on compensation & benefits topics
Way of working:
This is a hybrid role that requires regular, on-site work in Kongsberg. However, you will have the opportunity to work from your home office or one of our other offices in Norway.
About you:
We believe you are analytical, confident, self-aware and a good communicator. A strategic mindset, solid business understanding and a strong interest in compensation and benefits are requirements for succeeding in this role. Furthermore, you thrive in solving complex problems and seeing things from multiple perspectives.
To succeed in this role, you already have demonstrated experience and success in an international company within the field of compensation & benefits. You hold a minimum Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources or other relevant subjects.
Knowledge, skills and ability:
- Proven expertise in compensation & benefits leadership, preferably in an international, high-growth environment
- Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of global compensation structures, job evaluation frameworks, incentive plans, and benefits programs
- Experience leading teams and driving transformational change
- Exceptional analytical, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Growth mindset and passion for building and scaling HR functions
- Strong communicator, with the required confidence to operate at all levels in the organization

The Compensation & Benefit Director will report to VP & Head of HR and will be part of the HR Management Team.
