Instructor

At Kongsberg Discovery, we are looking for a curious and self-driven Instructor to develop and deliver world-class training programs for our cutting-edge solutions.

As an Instructor, you will play a key role in equipping personnel with the skills and expertise to operate, maintain, and optimize our advanced technologies safely and effectively.

Accountabilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to our technology and customer needs
• Design engaging theoretical and practical training modules, including simulations and hands-on sessions
• Conduct training at our facilities, and occasionally at customer sites worldwide
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements
• Collaborate with product, R&D, and customer service teams to improve training content and enhance user experience

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, marine science, hydrographer, surveyor or equivalent experience)
• Technical knowledge of advanced systems (e.g., robotics, navigation, positioning, acoustics, maintenance, data processing, or troubleshooting)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex topics engaging and easy to understand
• A passion for teaching and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
• Prior experience in training development or instructional design is a plus
