Training Coordinator and Operations Lead

An incredible opportunity awaits you as Training Coordinator and Operations Lead in Kongsberg Discovery. In this role, you will play a part in our dynamic Training Department, ensuring the logistics, administration and coordination of course deliveries for our internal and external customers.

What you will be doing

Training Operations and Operations; Logistics

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate training sessions (onsite, virtual, and hybrid).
  • Manage instructor assignments, ensuring the availability of trainers for different programs.
  • Oversee classroom setup, training materials, and necessary equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with training center policies and industry standards.


Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

  • Maintain and update the LMS, ensuring training content is accessible and up to date.
  • Track training participation, certifications, and assessments.
  • Generate reports on training effectiveness and learner progress.


Instructor and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a key point of contact between instructors, internal departments, and customers.
  • Work closely with product teams, Sales, and customer services to align training with company needs.
  • Provide administrative support to instructors and trainers, assisting with materials and scheduling.


Customer and Internal Training Support

  • Assist external customers and internal employees with training registration, schedules, and inquiries.
  • Gather feedback from trainees and instructors to improve training programs.
  • Ensure a high-quality learning experience, handling technical issues and troubleshooting when necessary.

We think you should have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in training operations, coordination, or program management.
  • Experience in corporate training, technical training, or an educational institution is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital training methodologies, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in a technology-driven company is considered positive
  • Understanding of certifications, compliance training, and accreditation requirements is beneficial, but not a requirement
  • Fluent English, both in written and verbal form
