Product Manager

To meet an exciting, expanding, yet complex and demanding future, we are seeking two new colleagues to contribute to the future of underwater positioning and communication. As part of our product team, you will contribute to the development of new and exciting products as well as keeping our existing product portfolio at a competitive level.

The product team specify requirements and design together with both the sales team and core designer’s to develop new solutions for our HiPAP and cNODE products. You will also be involved in continuous development and  maintenance of current products. The product team is responsible for the entire life cycle of the product lines.

Our products are used in several demanding underwater operations within research and energy worldwide. Our products consist of GUI, signal processing, sensor integration, electronics and mechanical modules.

What you will be working on

The Product Manager need to have a good overview of the entire system and the applications the system  is designed for. You will be able to work at both technical and system level.  You will be working with testing new solutions, supporting sales team and in some cases the customers. An important part is to propose new solutions that meet our customer`s needs. You will also be given the opportunity to take the project manager role for some of our development activities.

You will have the opportunity to learn and experience how our system works in real life onboard our research vessels in the Oslo fjord.

The Product Manager will be responsible for the entire life cycle of the products, this includes the product strategy and roadmaps for new products.  The product manager participates in the business unit’s management team. Other objectives are:

• Support sales for new opportunities
• Interact with customers for technical discussions
• Drive innovation for new products and solutions
• Present our products and services to our customers
• Obtain good knowledge of customers application

Qualifications

• BCs or MCs in electronics, systems engineering, computer science or cybernetics. Experience can compensate for a degree
• Experience from electronics design and test is an advantage
• You are cooperative, take responsibility and are pro-active.
• You are result driven and solution oriented.
• You like to take responsibility as a project or product manager
• You enjoy working with multiple tasks
• You are experienced in relevant product development
