KONGSBERG IT Commercial are now looking for a Configuration and Release Manager that will play a key role in ensuring that we have control of configurations and releases of new applications that are being implemented as part of the Digital Business Transformation (DBT) program. Our new Configuration and Release Manager will play a vital role in minimizing risk and consequences of changed decisions late in processes during implementations and after go-live of new applications. By collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders, the role will contribute to an end-to-end focus on the applications whole lifecycle from development to test and production.

Overview:
To succeed in this role, you will need technical project management skills, and you will need to coordinate task and workstreams between multiple stakeholders and teams. You will be responsible for enforcing that best practices are followed during the configuration phase and after release.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage software configuration items (CIs) across all environments.
• Oversee release plans and coordinate releases.
• Coordinate data refresh plans.
• Ensure control of environment versions for builds and tests.
• Manage versioning of Master Configuration and govern application releases.
• Maintain a consolidated strategy for environments and integrations in collaboration with other stakeholders
• Communicate status and impacts of upcoming releases.

Qualifications and skills:

• Experience with Technical Project Management
• Have previous experience, working with configuration or implementations for large scale IT transformation programs or projects.
• Ideally technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.

To be eligible for the position, you must be able to gain security clearance and authorization according to the Norwegian Security Act.
Some travelling must be expected, especially during the release of new services or applications.

Horten, Asker, Aalesund, or Kongsberg in combination with flexible home office arrangements.
