Product Development Manager

To meet an exciting, expanding, yet complex and demanding future, we are seeking two new colleagues to contribute to the future of underwater positioning and communication. As part of our product team, you will contribute to the development of new and exciting products, as well as keeping our existing product portfolio at a competitive level.

The product team specify requirements and design together with both the sales team and core designer’s to develop new solutions for our HiPAP and cNODE products. You will also be involved in continuous development and  maintenance of current products. The product team is responsible for the entire life cycle of the product lines.

Our products are used in several demanding underwater operations within research and energy worldwide. Our products consist of GUI, signal processing, sensor integration, electronics and mechanical modules.

What you will be working on

The Product development manager will manage our most important product development activities. These projects are multi discipline and include tasks like full stack software, signal processing, embedded, digital/analogue and mechanical design. You will be able to work on a detailed technical level and system level.

We are looking for people that have a strong technical interest that want to use this to create new winning products.

The Product development manager participates in the business unit’s management team. Other objectives are:

• Drive innovation for new technical solutions
• Involvement in research projects
• Be updated on “state of the art” technologies relevant for our products
• Interact with customers for technical discussions
• Obtain good knowledge of customers applications

Qualifications

• BCs or MCs in electronics, systems engineering, computer science or cybernetics. Experience can compensate for a degree
• Experience from electronics design and test is an advantage
• You are cooperative, take responsibility and are pro-active.
• You are result driven and solution oriented.
• You like to take responsibility as a project or product manager
• You enjoy working with multiple tasks
• You are experienced in relevant product development
