Senior Software Developer C#

Your responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Developer you'll be responsible for leading and managing software development projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.
We expect you to have a deep technical knowledge and expertise in listed programming languages, database systems, and software development tools.
You'll be involved in mentoring and coaching junior team members, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Kongsberg Maritime projects.
Overall, you'll play a crucial role in driving the innovation and excellence of software development within organization.

Our requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in C# development with a strong understanding of ASP.NET Core.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of software development best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with system integration and working with various APIs and third-party services.
• Experience with integrating automated tests into the development workflow.

Soft Skills:

• Solution-oriented mindset, capable of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well in a geographically distributed multi-cultural environment.

Education:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

Framework:

• ASP.Net Core – strong understanding [Deep understanding]
• ORM (Entity Framework) [Deep understanding]
• .Net [Deep understanding]

CI/CD:

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines:
• Git – past professional experience required [Deep understanding]
• Azure DevOps [Deep understanding]
• Experience with system integration and working with various APIs and third-party services

Testing:

• Experience with integrating automated tests into the development workflow.
