We are looking for an Embedded Software Architect with experience in architecture and software design for embedded systems, real-time control systems, and low-level drivers and hardware interfaces.
You will be part of our embedded software team in the Automation & Control division, where you will work closely with teams designing and developing high-quality hardware and software solutions that operate in conditions where safety is critical. The solutions you develop will be part of our common real-time platform utilized by our products and integrated systems.

What you will be doing
- Design and develop embedded software solutions for our future computer platforms.
- Lead architectural decisions and ensure alignment with overall technical strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with domain architects and system architects to ensure cohesive integration and alignment of software solutions with overall system architecture.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and best practices.
- Optimize software for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
We believe you should have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybernetics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C programming and knowledge of modern C++.
- Interest in electronics and low-level programming.
- Familiarity with field bus protocols like CANopen, TCP/IP, and PROFIBUS.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems like VxWorks, Keil RTX, and embedded Linux.
