ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive Outbound Prospecting: Use modern tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and CRM systems to identify and engage new prospects across North and South America.
  • Fuel the Sales Funnel: Launch outbound campaigns to book qualified introductory meetings for our regional product sales managers.
  • Partner with Sales Teams: Collaborate with > 20 regional sales managers (PSM) to learn our product portfolio, define lead lists, and support strategic outreach.
  • Support Regional Sales: Assist PSM’s with CRM upkeep, customer follow up and perform targeted market research to inform sales strategies.
  • Create New Opportunities: Take initiative in identifying decision-makers, initiating contact, and generating interest in Kongsberg Discovery’s solutions.
  • Document and Lead: The standing up of the new Kongsberg Discovery Outbound Sales Team. Assist with process development, software tool acquisition, CRM steam-lining, and value-based selling product documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a business field, engineering, merchant marine, or ocean sciences desired.
  • 1-3 Years Documented Success Outbound Sales – We hire for attitude, determination, and potential, however for this outbound sales role we want someone with experience executing outbound sales efforts.
  • Resilient & Rejection-Proof: You’re not afraid to hear "no." You understand that rejection is part of the process, and you bounce back quickly with a positive mindset.
  • Warm, Outgoing Personality: You enjoy starting conversations, making connections, and building rapport.
  • Experience with Outbound Sales Tools: Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or CRM systems; plus cold-calling willingness and experience.

Work Location: Remote or Office (Preferred Locations: Houston, TX., Lynnwood, WA., or Southeastern Massachusetts)

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, DOE (eligible for annual sales bonus up to 25% of earnings)
