Manager Technical Support

Join our team as Manager for Technical Support! If you're passionate about leadership and have technical experience within the maritime industry, this role is tailor-made for you.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced person with a passion for engineering and leadership. As Manager Technical Support, you will manage a team of 15 direct reports in our Kristinehamn team. You'll be responsible for leading and instructing the team daily, fostering personal development and engagement as well as ensuring the team’s delivery of high quality technical and engineering support.

Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to create processes, demonstrate leadership, and provide support for product development and documentation. With various competencies within the team and several new resources in need of support, this position offers a dynamic environment for professional growth and leadership development.

Qualifications and experience

You have a Bachelor degree (or higher) in Engineering or another technical area as well as experience within martime engineering. You are someone who takes initiative, driving outcomes and taking ownership of results? You have the ability to make a lasting impact, persuading others and successfully promoting plans and ideas? You can provide a team with clear direction, inspiring and coordinating them towards objectives? You are passionate about developing people through delegation, empowerment, and coaching, fostering a culture of self-development? With your methodical and systematic approach, you plan ahead, establish clear priorities, and allocate resources effectively. Additionally, you create a stable and reassuring work atmosphere, offering support and encouragement to your team. Fluency in English at a high level is a must.
