Export Control Manager

Kongsberg Maritime is seeking two Export Control Managers to be a part of a centralized team of experts, caretaking our license to operate. The role is an exciting opportunity on a company that is growing rapidly.

What you will be doing:

-        Internal due diligence process according to KM procedure and guidelines for sales.

-        Communicate with Sales operatives in KM locations and Export Control screening team

-        Using third-party tools for vessel and customer checks (KYC)

-        Apply for export licenses in Norway

-        Identify opportunities to improve response time

-        As a central team member in KM export control, to be involved in adjusting procedures whenever needed.

We think you should have:

-        Knowledge of sanctions laws in Norway, EU, US and UK are a strong advantage. Training and development will be offered

-        Knowledge of key KYC procedures and methods of working.

-        Knowledge of tools used for screening of Business Partners is an advantage

-        English skills, as this is our working language

-        Background from Export Control or law is preferred - but not a prerequisite

-        Knowledge of the Maritime industry is an advantage
