Senior Sales Manager, Underwater Positioning and Communication

As a sales manager for the underwater positioning and communication product portfolio you will be working across the offshore energy and academic marketsIdeally with a background in offshore construction survey, you will leverage your experience and expertise to provide the most operationally effective solutions for your customers applicationYou will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, developing new business and achieving sales targetsThe role is ideal for a candidate that is looking to transition from offshore, to a shore-based position and continue to apply their knowledge and skills.

What you will be doing 

  • Sales of Underwater Positioning and Communication Systems. 

  • Represent Kongsberg at industry conferences and exhibitions. 

  • Prepare quotations and engage in contract negotiations. 

  • Achieving forecasted sales targets for defined area. 

  • International travel may be required. 

 

We think you should have 

  • BSc in Hydrographic Survey, Ocean Science, Ocean Engineering or similar. 

  • Ideally 3 to 5 years+ operational experience in offshore construction survey. 

  • Experience is solution-based sales and negotiations. 

  • Self drive and initiative. 

  • Awareness of relevant industries / competitors.
