Product Advisor - Bridge Systems

Kongsberg Maritime is growing - and we want you to be part of our journey as Product Advisor - Bridge Systems. In this role, you will join our dynamic team in Product & Services, developing and delivering essential Bridge Systems into Naval projects.

Kongsberg Maritime has ambitions to grow considerably within the Naval domain. We have successfully sold and delivered products such as Navigation, propulsion systems and stabilizers to Navies and Coast Guards around the world for many years. Our Naval business is expected to grow further through offering more products, solutions and services to the Naval market. Key areas of growth will be navigation, automation & control, energy and digital services.

As part of this growth, we are looking for Bridge Systems – product advisors. The role will be part of our existing Bridge Systems product team.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support project and product activities with required specifications, best-practices and validation of our solutions for Bridge Systems products in Naval segments. This role involves promoting a culture of product and business mind set, providing training, and leading improvement initiatives to achieve measurable benefits. The successful candidate will lead our Bridge Systems products into Naval deliveries. You will collaborate closely with the rest of our highly professional product development team and organization. Some traveling must be expected.

What you will be doing

• Product development and maintenance
• Advice on Naval domain requirements within Bridge Systems
• Internal and external communication

We think you should have

• Higher technical education within Navigation, Maritime or equivalent
• Experience from the defense industry or equivalent
• Experience with classified information handling
• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and oral
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills and ability to work in a structured, independent and proactive manner
