Forwarder

Kongsberg Maritime AS, Division Automation, Energy & Integrated System, are now searching for a new Forwarder to join our Forwarding & Export Logistics Department at Bekkajordet, Horten.

As a Forwarder, you will support our delivery organizations in delivering projects and spare parts to our customers worldwide – at the right time and to the right place. We are looking for a person with the right qualifications and attitude to join our team. You should in this role be self-driven, service minded, show excellent communication skills, and have a structured way of working.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Handle shipments from site for worldwide deliveries
• Prepare and issue required export documents
• Continuously keeping your competence updated
• Support our internal customers in serving our external customers
• Contribute to a high service level and enhancement of working processes
   

Qualifications and experience

• Logistics/ forwarding education and/ or relevant experience
• Experience from international transport, logistics, global export
• Experienced in using digital tools like ERP and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
• Meet safety requirements from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (Luftfartstilsynet)
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both verbal and in writing

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
