About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Spare Parts Sales Engineer for a permanent position. In this role, you will be an integral part of our spare part sales team within the Global Customer Support Division for Deck Machinery.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient handling of spare part inquiries and orders, making a significant impact on our customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage spare part inquiries and orders for a defined area, focusing on major overhauls and docking.
- Actively follow up with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
- Prepare accurate technical recommendations and quotations for upcoming overhauls and dockings.
- Ensure timely processing of customer orders and maintain close communication with internal stakeholders.
- Keep customers updated on ongoing and pending inquiries and orders.
- Cooperate with customer support in relation to service attendance.
- Some travelling for customer meetings will be expected.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the maritime industry, particularly in areas related to spare parts, overhauls, and docking.
- Proven experience in customer negotiation, sales, and commercial processes.
- Proficiency in using various software tools related to technical and sales processes.
- Excellent knowledge of both spoken and written English.
- Outgoing, service-minded, and thrive in contact with new people.
- Solution-oriented and seek opportunities.
- Able to build relationships with customers and clients, as well as work independently when needed.
