Senior Project Manager

An incredible opportunity awaits you as Senior Project Manager. In this role, you will play a part in our dynamic Project management team, delivering essential products and solutions for our business.

By joining us, you will belong to a cross-functional team with a mix of young and more experienced colleagues. Together we develop and deliver solutions worldwide. This position is key for Kongsberg’s world leading products to be integrated on vessels.

Working closely with sales, supply chain, purchaser, shipping, suppliers, sub vendors, sister offices, yards as well as being the single point of contact for the customer. To succeed it is important to appreciate day-to-day contact with clients and a desire to always learn more. We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-driven and have a collaborative personality.

What you will be doing

• Point of contact toward clients 
• Managing the project to meet or exceed company goals
• Organizing, leading, and motivating the project team
• Activity and resource planning, cost estimating and developing the budget
• Analyzing and managing project risk, managing reports and documentation
• Stakeholder management and ensuring customer satisfaction

We think you should have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 8 years as project or engineering manager
•  Experience and track record as Project Manager or other leading functions in successfully multi discipline projects
• Experience with Contract Management and EPC contracts
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal (Norwegian and English)
• Knowledge of our product group with acoustic positioning and communication or hydrography system is an advantage
