Project Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Kongsberg Maritime’s Poland Digital Performance Team as a Project Manager. This role is part of our Digital & Simulation division, where we develop and deliver cutting-edge digital solutions for data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization to a wide range of customers in the maritime industry. You will be part of a global, diverse, and experienced project managers team, working collaboratively across Kongsberg Maritime’s international network. Your responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of digital delivery Offshore/LNG projects with durations ranging from a few weeks to a year.
- Oversee projects through all phases – from initiation and planning to execution and closure.
- Work hands-on with both internal project teams and external customers to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with client expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely delivery.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
- Establish and maintain good customer relations
- Support the sales organization with project/technical expertise
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree within engineering, management, but relevant experience can compensate for education
- Experience with customer relations
- Strong organizational and systematic working style.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
- Experience as Project Manager, or aspiring for such a challenge
- Experience with maritime operation, products and market
- A self-driven and proactive mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality results
- Ability to act independently, take initiative, drive actions, and take responsibility for outcomes
- Strong focus on achieving results, with the ability to identify potential risks and assess the financial impact of own activities
- Proven ability to build and leverage a network of contacts and relationships to achieve business goals
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including providing clear direction, motivating and coordinating others, and maintaining focus on objectives
- Organized and systematic approach to work, including effective planning, setting priorities, and efficient allocation of resources
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, precisely, and in a structured manner
- Willingness to work at the Kongsberg Maritime Poland headquarters in Szczecin
