Export Control Coordinator

As part of our Export Control and Compliance Team, you’ll contribute to a safer and more transparent global trade environment, playing a key role in ensuring the company's compliance with international regulations and internal policies.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Export Control Coordinator to strengthen our operations in Kraków/Gdynia. This role requires a proactive, inquisitive professional with strong risk analysis capabilities and outstanding communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing diligent and timely compliance tasks related to customer and vessel verification.
  • Managing and prioritizing email queues related to the screening process.
  • Conducting risk assessments using designated systems in line with global procedures.
  • Maintaining and updating internal customer databases.
  • Ensuring continuous monitoring and re-scanning of business partners and vessels.
  • Reporting discrepancies and supporting improvements in verification procedures.
  • Preparing and updating internal instructions and training materials.
  • Collaborating closely with departments across the Compliance, Sales, and Export Control teams.
  • Actively participating in internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives with HQ.
  • Supporting the Manager in administrative and strategic initiatives.
  • Representing KONGSBERG’s values and ensuring a professional image across all tasks.

 Qualifications:

  • Higher education (preferably in law or economics).
  • Professional experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of global export control regulations and sanctions is preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, consistency, and punctuality.
  • Sound knowledge of internal procedures, MS Office, and CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in risk analysis, due diligence screening tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under time pressure.
  • Experience in staff training and process improvement will be an asset.
  • Motivation, proactivity, and a positive attitude are essential.
