Junior Software Developer (Python)

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join the Kongsberg Maritime development team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their knowledge of Python while gaining hands-on experience with C++, machine learning, and modern web technologies.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 100% remote is not possible.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain internal applications using Python and Django

• Work on integrating and maintaining components written in C++

• Contribute to ML-related tasks and support model integration

• Ensure frontend responsiveness and RWD (Responsive Web Design)

• Support DevOps processes and work with Azure DevOps

• Assist in managing and using virtual machines

• Collaborate with other developers

• Learn and grow – we support your development!

What we’re looking for:

• Basic experience with Python

• Willingness to work with and learn C++

• Understanding of machine learning principles

• Familiarity with Django framework

• Knowledge of responsive web design (RWD)

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn

• Polish and English at least on B1 level

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps

• Understanding of virtual machine operation and configuration
