System Architect - Navigation
An exciting opportunity has arisen as a System Architect in the domain of Navigation, Positioning and Manoeuvring at Kongsberg Maritime. If you are passionate about System Architecture and are motivated to bridge the gap between product organizations, system level decompositions and disciplines – this role could be a perfect fit for you.
Our department is at the heart of developing Kongsberg Maritime’s next generation navigation systems. As a System Architect - Navigation, you will work closely together with a dedicated development team and software architects, playing a key role in shaping the architecture of innovative solutions that will guide vessels safely and efficiently across the globe.
What you will be doing
- Establishing a technical vision together with the development team and the architect team for our next generation navigation system
- Collaborate with teams of architects, developers, product owners and managers, while sharing and exploiting knowledge in cross-functional and globally distributed multi-discipline departments and project
- Contribute to development of the Systems Engineering discipline by providing thought leadership to the team around innovative approaches, workflows, and technologies
We think you should have
- Bachelor- or Master degree in engineering
- Experience from concept development, system architecture, system integration and/or Systems Engineering in product development
- Interest in keeping up with the current technological trends and innovations
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
