Senior Sales Manager

KONGSBERG is seeking to hire a high-performing Senior Sales Manager in UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Kongsberg Discovery`s sales team to help us meet our targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The right person will focus on sales within the Defense market. You will join an experienced team, and together be responsible for maximizing our sales potential.

Products & Solutions

Your focus will be related to products & solutions from Kongsberg Discovery, a company within Kongsberg Group. Focusing on further development of product-oriented businesses and operations based on a strong technology platform. Kongsberg Discovery develop and produce world class products for positioning, navigation, underwater positioning, seabed mapping, fish finding and ocean science.

In this position your main responsibilities are:

· To create and maintain customer relations for system and product sales.

· Develop sales and customer strategies for our products and solutions

· Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives

· Active engagement with personnel and leadership at applicable commands and offices within regional defense departments

· Preparation of quotations and manage contract negotiations

· Coordinate customer activities with sales resources within KONGSBERG.

· Order intake budget, prognosis short and long term.

· Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products

· Attend industry conferences and events.

Qualifications

· Education – Technical education bachelor's degree or similar.

· Background from Defense

· Sales and marketing experience within the Defense / Navy industry is an advantage.

· Experience in customer negotiation, sales and commercial processes is an advantage.

· Work language is English.
