Aftermarket Sales Manager - AES
We are looking for an Aftermarket Sales Manager to join our Global Customer Support (GCS) Division – a dynamic, international team dedicated to supporting our customers worldwide.
Our GCS division is responsible for all aftermarket services at Kongsberg Maritime. With more than 2,000 employees across 35 countries, we support the operational lifetime of over 30,000 installations. We ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades, and spare parts that secure availability and predictability for our customers.
In this role, you will cover the Navigation product line worldwide, working closely with customers to promote, manage, and follow up on our Life Cycle Management (LCM) philosophy. Your goal will be to help customers maximize uptime and minimize total cost of ownership by providing tailored proposals for upgrades, modifications, and retrofit/refit solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with customers to promote Kongsberg Maritime’s Navigation systems and lifecycle solutions, including product obsolescence management, system improvements, and recommended upgrades.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer fleet and operational profiles.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Contribute to strategies that maximize aftermarket potential.
- Support the development of aftermarket products and services based on customer insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Solid knowledge and experience with Navigation systems.
- Familiarity with Kongsberg Maritime’s Life Cycle Management processes.
- Proven track record in preparing, delivering, and negotiating commercial proposals.
- Experience in aftermarket sales is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Structured, reliable, and skilled in networking and collaboration.
