Sales Operations Specialist

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting sales and marketing data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making and drive sales performance. The role helps managers and stakeholders make informed business decisions by ensuring accurate data, reporting, and analysis.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the specialist works closely with sales managers, leadership, and stakeholders to effectively execute sales strategies that support business growth. The ideal candidate is a user of D365 CRM, Power BI, and other analytical tools, overseeing CRM data administration, implementation, and maintenance. Training will be provided if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis
- Analyze sales and marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve performance.
- Examine sales figures, market research, customer insights, and competitor activity.
- Maintain and utilize CRM tools such as D365, Power BI, and others.
- Sales Forecasting & Performance Tracking
- Collaborate with sales teams and stakeholders on forecasting based on pipeline, historical data, market trends, and industry insights.
- Provide periodic forecasts to support leadership and stakeholder strategy information and development.
- Summarize CRM insights and market intelligence into clear, concise reports and presentations for managers and stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor sales KPIs, such as order intake, pipeline progression, etc.
- Maintain dashboards and reports for timely updates to stakeholders.
- Flag data inconsistencies or concerns and provide actionable recommendations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align strategies and optimize overall business performance.
- Promote knowledge sharing and coordinated execution of company objectives.
- Market Research Support & Marketing Campaign Analysis
- Coordinate with the central business intelligence team to facilitate market research initiatives and deliver actionable insights.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent communication of campaign information.
- Track regional campaign performance and maintain visibility in CRM.
- Event Support & Continuous Learning
- Led and collaborated with all stakeholders to organize events, seminars, and exhibitions in the region.
- Demonstrate curiosity and enthusiasm to learn, embracing personal growth and development opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferably 5 years of experience in sales operations or related supporting roles within B2B, EPC, or technology-focused organizations.
- Experience with CRM systems (D365), Power BI, and data analysis is preferred.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and self-driven, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and matrix organization.
- Knowledge of regional maritime and shipbuilding markets is a plus.
- Awareness of generative AI and advanced analytics tools is a plus.
