QHSE Manager

An exciting opportunity awaits you as QHSE Manager in Kongsberg Maritime. You will play a key role in ensuring operational success through QHSE compliance and delivery on key success factors. Our QHSE Manager delivers knowhow and expertise to ensure we move towards a more sustainable Maritime Industry. You will support a business unit, part of our Automation Energy and Integrated System.

Our QHSE Manager is part of the divisional Global QHSE team, delivering Quality assurance and functional HSE together with central stakeholders. As our QHSE subject matter expert, you should be curious, have passion for operational excellence and have a keen eye for improvements as prevention is the cure. Responsibilities

• Serve as a proactive QHSE business partner, providing guidance and support on QHSE matters, promoting and leading initiatives to identify and lead continuous improvements activities.
• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure adherence to Business Management Systems and drive operational excellence.
• Ensure effective quality assurance, risk assessment in the business unit and support compliance with standards and other relevant obligations.
• Deliver QHSE support, by using robust KPIs to monitor and manage business QHSE performance, and facilitate data-driven decision making
• Promote and communicate best practices and lessons learned, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among internal stakeholders.
• Site HSEQ responsibilities, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.

Qualifications and experience

• Preferably bachelor’s or master’s degree in hardware/software design, engineering, safety, computer science or information systems
• Experience from companies that are subjected to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 / OHSAS 18001, 31001 and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Work experience from areas within QHSE, risk management, product safety, audits, project management and business process development and tailoring.
• Product quality expertise around lifecycle and configuration management.
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms relevant to QHSE, such as data analytics, digital problem-solving methods, and electronic document management.
• Experience in implementing or optimizing digital solutions to enhance QHSE processes.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
