Fleet Manager - Thruster Projects

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Kongsberg Maritime as Fleet Manager. In this role, you will play a part in our high-achieving Global Customer Support – Thruster project team.

Kongsberg Maritime have entered into Thruster Service Agreements (TSA) with different customers. The Fleet Manager role will be responsible for following up the KM part of the agreements.

You will be the main point of contact for our esteemed clients, emphasizing customer satisfaction while simultaneously driving revenue and cash flow improvements. We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-driven and have a collaborative personality. 

Responsibilities

• Own the concluded TSA, and ensure that KM responsibilities in these agreements are carried out in accordance with the KM standard.
• Tracking and delivering milestones, financial accounting and risk management
• Cost and variation control management
• Customer interface and reporting
• Controlling and managing the project budget, providing monthly progress status and finance reports
• Input and upkeep of project contract files
• Interfacing with both our internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree, relevant experience can substitute this
• Customer oriented approach
• Basic knowledge of Thrusters product portfolio is considered as an advantage
• Good spoken and verbal communication skills in English
• Global perspective and open to different challenges, cultures, and ways of operating
• Experience from marine industry is an advantage
