We are now looking for Portfolio Analytics & Insights Lead to own analytics, dashboards and digital tools for project delivery across GCS.
Role Purpose
You will ensure that project and portfolio data is turned into clear, decision-ready insights for project, portfolio and delivery leadership.
Your responsibility is to build and maintain a single, trusted view of project performance across GCS — improving transparency, predictability and execution quality in project delivery.
This role exists to improve how projects are delivered — not to produce reports for reporting’s sake.
Scope clarification
This role focuses on analytics and tools for project delivery and project portfolios only.
It does not cover enterprise-wide business analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio insight
- Create clear project portfolio dashboards for delivery projects in GCS
- Provide leadership with data-driven insights on delivery status, risks and trends
- Ensure consistent reporting in projects across product business units and regions
Digital Tools
- Own and evolve digital tools and Power BI dashboards
- Simplify and standardize tool use across projects in GCS
- Pilot new technologies (AI, automation) where it improves project execution
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Turn insights into concrete improvement actions
- Support project delivery maturity assessment and improvement with data
- Represent GCS in cross-divisional, project delivery related, data and system initiatives
This role is for someone who:
- Understands how projects actually succeed or fail in real delivery environments
- Enjoys turning complex project data into clear decisions
- Is comfortable working between tools, processes and people
We think you should have
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, CRM).
- Background in project execution, data analytics or digital transformation — ideally in complex, global or engineering-driven organizations.
- Solid understanding of project/portfolio management and how data drives performance.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
At KONGSBERG, we believe that diversity fuels innovation. We encourage you to apply, even if you do not meet every requirement. Your unique perspective is valuable to us. Your skills, attitude and perspective could be exactly what we are looking for!
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment.
You are able to
- Take initiative, drive progress and own results.
- Work systematically, prioritize well and plan ahead.
- Analyse complex issues and make sound judgments.
- Bring fresh ideas and creative solutions.
- Collaborate effectively and support shared goals.
Why join us
- Shape how projects are delivered across a global organization
