Technical Product Manager – Arctic Thrusters
We are excited to invite a dynamic Technical Product Manager to join our Retractable & Special Thrusters, product, team. In this role, you will play a leading part in our dynamic product team, delivering essential growth in arctic and ice-going vessel segments. In this key role, you will be leading designers, coordinating and supporting activities that drive customer satisfaction, efficient production, and employee engagement. Your responsibilities will include leading segment specific development activities, supporting internal stakeholders in technical issues. Key accountabilities
- Lead product development
- Being the technical authority for a family of Arctic thrusters
- Keep up to date with market activity, customer needs and operations and technical requirements of relevant vessel types
- Transform business and market expectations to enhancing features
- Support our customers with technical solutions
Experience and Qualifications
- To succeed in this position, you ideally have a master’s degree or higher in engineering, with experience in product development.
- Experience or understanding within naval engineering, marine propulsion and ability to guide and support the engineering team
- Experience with 3D and 2D design software is an advantage
- Due to the nature of an international customer and supplier base, a full professional proficiency level of English, is essential. Communication skills in other languages are considered an advantage.
